James Roberson

James Roberson is a Behavioral Health Consultant.  Mr. Roberson graduated from the University of Oklahoma with his Master’s in Human Relations. He comes from a multi-cultural and diverse background which assist him when working with individuals from different cultures, sexual orientations, and religions. He enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults who are trying to work through experiences and emotions to improve their lives. He believes that individuals possess a great amount of resolve and inner strength which aids them in their ability to heal. With help, Mr. Roberson believes these individuals can bring forward these attributes and qualities which allow his patients to thrive.

Mr. Roberson prefers Patient-Centered and Solution-Focused modalities integrated with Cognitive-Behavioral techniques. He wants to help those adolescent and/or adult patients to change and find understanding in their struggles.

Mr. Roberson has experience working with individuals who exhibit behaviors that include ADHD, Oppositional Defiant, Depression, Anxiety, Impulse Control, Self-Esteem, and school-related behavioral problems. He has over a decade of experience working with schools on their trauma-informed care approach while assisting with evidence-based behavioral interventions. He has facilitated groups which include Anger Management, Batterers Intervention/Domestic Violence and Parenting classes.
